In the drone era, risk is distributed across logistics, operations, and tactical layers simultaneously. Civilian infrastructure becomes the battlespace not because it is targeted deliberately—but because it is slow, visible, and fragile under compressed timelines.
A small drone does not need to destroy a power station to cause failure. It only needs to interrupt it long enough for backup systems, traffic control, and emergency response to fall out of sequence. The damage is not the strike—it is the cascade.
Drones do not make preparedness irrelevant. Preparedness without practiced, time-compressed response is no longer readiness.
