I’ve never been particularly good at sticking to just one subject. One thing catches my attention, which leads to another question, and before I know it, I’m off exploring something I hadn’t even thought about when I started.
That’s part of the reason Bobby Bama exists.
As I’ve been putting this place together, I’ve tried to make it a little easier for readers to find the kinds of things that interest them. Two of the tags you’ll see are Blog and Articles.
Blog — One Thing Led to Another
This is the more personal, informal side of things. Observations, experiences, opinions, lessons learned, a few mistakes along the way, and subjects I just couldn’t leave alone.
Sometimes I’ll have a point to make. Sometimes I’m just thinking out loud. And occasionally, I may end up somewhere entirely different from where I started.
Articles
These are the pieces where I spend a little more time digging into a particular subject. They may involve research, history, current events, preparedness, technology, or whatever else has caught my interest.
I’ll try to bring you useful information, explain what I’ve found, and offer my perspective. That doesn’t mean I have all the answers, and I certainly don’t expect everyone to agree with me.
Sometimes a piece may fit both categories. That’s fine, too.
The tags aren’t intended to put everything into little boxes. They’re simply a way to help you find your way around.
